Cry, The Beloved Country is one of my favorite books. The novel is beautifully written in language that has its own unique rhythm and style. In dealing with the issue of racial injustice in South Africa, Paton also addresses deep spiritual issues such as our relationship to God, forgiveness, the consequences of sin, and the healing power of love.

The Interactive Study Guide is not designed to replace reading the book, but to enhance the reading and understanding of it and to encourage exploration into related topics. Using the interactive medium of the computer, the student becomes more involved in the learning process.
